Hemp Farms and Free Hemp Products!Jesse Clymer
After 60 years since the farming of industrial hemp was declared illegal in America, farmer, Ryan Loflin is set to plant the first commercial-scale hemp crop in Springfield, Colorado. The historical event will be filmed and featured in the documentary, “Hemp in America: The Revolution”. It will be interesting to see how this documentary turns out, as commercial sponsored documentaries have the potential to be either really informative or biased based upon the producers’ needs.
Sen. Rand Paul and Mitch McConnell are trying to introduce an amendment to the Farming Bill but they keep being turned down by the Senate Agriculture Committee. Even though they failed this time, they are determined to keep trying. They believe they will eventually succeed due to the bipartisan support throughout the community and even in the senate itself. While still having a ways to go, Paul and McConnell have made tremendous head way for the hemp industry and continue to do so. Their support and help in putting the hemp industry into the political spot light continues to be instrumental in the ability to gain national farming legalization.
