Cut down on germs in your kitchen and bathroom by using germ-resistant hemp towels!
Hemp is a wonderful fabric that can be used for multitude of products, from clothing, nursing pads, in cloth diapering, to bath and body products such as washcloths and cleansing pads and of course towels. It resists microbial growth (mold & fungus), so it is great for sensitive skin. By using products made from this material you not only limit the disposables that go directly into the landfill, but also support sustainable farming where there is no need for pesticides and herbicides. And hemp products are very durable!
These towels are 7.5×25 inches and are made out of 100% organic hemp cotton blend terry. This fabric has two different textures, on one side it is terry, on the other jersey. I have decided to make these in this size to fit perfectly in the cupboard hand towel holder. This way it can hang in one layer and dry much quicker.
Great to have in the kitchen or bathroom or anywhere that you use hand towels! These are also wonderful as dish towels.
Choose from a single towel to sets of 3 pcs and up.
Hemp can handle normal washer/dryer settings. However, to prolong life of the fabric, I would recommend gentle settings and hang/sun drying when possible. I also recommend not using fabric softeners, as they will leave a film on the fabric and will decrease absorption. Any stains can be treated with products for your clothes. But don’t underestimate the power of sun, natural and totally free 🙂
