For this tee shirt craft, you will need scotch tape, and scissors.
Lay out your shirt on a large flat surface.
Fold in half, making sure that the front of the tee is pulled out and not in the fold.
Tape.
Starting at the top, tape across to roughly one inch from arm seem.
Tape all the way down, each piece slightly shorter than the previous.
Scissors.
Following your tape lines, cut down through the shirt.
Cut all the lines.
Remove the tape.
Layout the cut shirt.
Grabbing each cut strand, pull out to create smaller, thin pieces of fabric.
Give each one a good tug.
It should look like this after you do.
And repeat for each one.
Take the top most strand and twist.
Creating a little loop.
Take the next strand below it.
Pull it through the loop.
Take the next strand.
Twist it.
Pull it through.
So on.
And so forth.
All the way down.
Should look like this.
Take the final loop.
Cut the final bottom piece of the shirt.
Tie it off with the final loop.
Cut the excess pieces at the end of the ties.
Stretch out if needed.
